ARCHIVE PROJECTIONS
Bruce Goff’s experimental designs were not always well received in the conservative landscape where he built his architectural career. Therefore, much of his work has been left to decay or forgotten altogether. In order to capture the fading memories of Goff’s legacy on camera we interpreted his philosophy of the continuous present through moving image and old lecture tapes of Goff’s teachings. Projected archive of Goff’s lost or crumbling designs are layered on to the present state of those structures making every experience unique and extended into space and time. More than half of the movie is comprised of projections of his work to simulate the time of Goff’s life and what remains after his death.
